The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety named the 2011 Volvo S80, C30, and S60 as 2011 IIHS Top Safety Picks.  The 2011 IIHS Top Safety Picks underwent frontal offset tests, side impact test and roof strength test.  The 2010 Volvo S80 and C30 were also named IIHS Top Safety Picks for 2010.
